Deja Vu All Over Again.
Does this feel like deja vu all over again? (thank you Yogi)
Oh, sure there have been a few wrinkles added. On both their faces for certain, and we must now also consider a few minor, inconsequential, hardly worth mentioning crimes against our own government, a woman or three, and the very concept of democracy on one side of the ledger, while on the other a foreign diplomacy nightmare, an immigration imbroglio, a recession that isn't and a walking and talking President who, it has been oft suggested, has us taking a second gander at every itsy bitsy imperfection of his V.P., makes this a contest to remember (or forget).
We are relegated to twisting in the wind the better (or worse) part of this year, waiting for the other shoe to drop on the apple of our eye, or maybe some pigeon droppings to fall on that other fella.
The battle lines are drawn (and quartered) and we will be inundated, exasperated, underwhelmed and overwhelmed from here til kingdom come or at least November 5th.
The end of the world as we know it if we lose (or if we win, the end of the world as they know it). We get it (or we don't). Yet again.
Trump v Biden part two. The most hated man in the land against the ruler eliciting a most tepid love.
Frazier v Ali redux it ain't.
